U-Kiss Band

Bet you'd never have guessed it, but U-Kiss is another Korean guy group. Wait, you mean you saw that one coming? Huh, guess I'm becoming predictable. Anyway, U Kiss is not my favorite band, but they have a few good songs that I watch when I wan't something I haven't seen in a while.

The first is Bingeul Bingeul... um, it either means Again Again or Round and Round... I can't really remember. I think I've watched the video with english subtitles once, but if I did, I don't remember what it's about. I just know that their dancing amuses me and their costumes are funny. I actually really like their white costumes. The jackets look military to me, and there's just something about the pristine white Admiral's uniform that gets me. Maybe it just reminds me of Grand Admiral Thrawn, whom I love. Anyway, very attractive. The confetti bits used as eye shadow... not so much. ~laughs~

The second is Man Man Hani. I especially like this one because of the "Hey" "Ho" "Hey" they add to the end of the "Man Man Hani" during the chorus that go along with the hand motions. This one is about the girl treating the guy badly and he's asking if she can find love so easily that she doesn't think she needs to be nice to the guy. "Am I that easy? Is finding love that easy?" Stuff like that. He's saying that she's going to lose him if she keeps up the crap. A little too much make up for my tastes, but eh. That's pretty much par for this kind of music. Get used to it or listen to something else!

And third is a song called Shut Up. This music video kind of reminds me of Gackt's video Ghost because of the slightly robotic dancing. Oh, and this song is about how much he doesn't like his girlfriend anymore. The words remind me of the Backstreet boys song, Don't Want You Back. U-Kiss is saying, "Oppa hates you. Oppa doesn't want to hear any more of your lies" and really depressing things like that. I thought it was a little bit funny that the girl in the music video is smiling through it all. She's from Peru... I think. I think the only reason she's smiling even though the song is all about how they want her to leave and that she's just a soul sucking cheater, because she doesn't speak a single word of Korean. Ha! (Yes, I stole that from Eat Your Kimchi, but I thought it was awesome so I used it here) And, surprising enough, I liked their costumes and make up... though I don't know why the one on the bike looks all beat up. Whatever! They look good!

So that's U-Kiss.
